Fee Schedules

The Fee Schedules are the University Council Approved fees for each teaching area within the University. The Fee Schedules show how much a unit credit point costs within the teaching area.  The fees are charged in accordance with Commonwealth Government guidelines and University Policy.

We recommend students use the Fee Calculator rather than the Fee Schedules to calculate fees as it is much quicker and easier than using Fee Schedules.  However, if you wish to use the Fee Schedules, instructions are provided below.

How to calculate your unit fees using the Fee Schedules

Please note that each unit belongs to a particular teaching area. As explained above each teaching area has a different fee rate per credit point. On average most units are 25 credit points in total.  A full time student will complete 100 credit points per semester.

For example, if you are an International Student and you wish to study Unit 1234 Economics 100 which is a 25 credit point unit. To calculate your unit fee, go to the International Onshore and Offshore Distance Education Fees Schedule.  Unit 1234 Economics is an undergraduate unit owned by Curtin Business School. According to the International 2008 Fee Schedule, Curtin Business School undergraduate fee rate is $91 per credit point. Therefore, Unit 1234 Economic fee is calculated as follows:

$91/credit * 25 credit point = $2,275

Please see below the Fees Schedules list.
