2017 Commonwealth Supported Student Contribution Amounts (SCA)

A unit of study that is offered by a higher education provider will be classified into a Government Band according to its Field of Education (FOE). Bands are defined by the field of education (FOE) under the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) Australian Standard Classification of Education (ASCED).

The cost of studying at Curtin University is determined at the unit level. Each unit has a credit value or EFTSL value. An EFTSL or Equivalent Full Time Student Load is a representation of the amount of load a student would have when studying full time for one year. 200 credits equal 1.0 EFTSL.
